Account and workspace policies decide whether you can add a custom MCP server, and the menus move between releases. Check the current OpenAI docs.

  1. Open Plugins

Go to chatgpt.com/plugins, select +, then Add custom MCP server.
  2. Name it

Name it Zntext and describe it as “Curriculum-exact chapter context for studying.”
  3. Connect it to Zntext

Under Connection, paste the MCP server URL above. Choose no authentication (Zntext needs no sign-in), review the warning, select I understand and want to continue, then Create as a plugin.
  4. Install and use it

ChatGPT lists the tools below. Install the plugin, start a new chat, type @, pick Zntext and ask, for example, “Find my Class 8 Science chapter on light and tutor me.”
